How do I mount a disc brake rotor? For disc brake rotors, you have 2 different ways of mounting depending on the lock ring. One has an internal fit that you can tighten with a Cassette Removal Tool without a pin. If the inside of the key is open, it can reach far enough over the axle of the wheel. The other version is an external fit that you can tighten with a bottom bracket tool.

Although I have been a regular Shimano user for decades, I recommend the Campagnolo brake discs
Following a tip on YouTube, I fitted Campagnolo discs, 160 mm at the front and 140 mm at the rear, because I was fed up with the Shimano brake discs, which warp slightly after heavy braking and drag for a while until they cool down again. That gekldt even for their so-called Ice technology. Campagnolo has the same centrelock system as Shimano. The discs are simply interchangeable. Warping is solved immediately.
